Verkada Access Control

The door controller is the control panel / device that is located at the site that connects to the card readers, electronic locks, door contacts, request to exits, and local sounders to communicate with the software. These controllers are specific to the manufacturer. These door controllers are designed to control from one to several doors. Verkada offers a four-door controller (AC42) and a sixteen-door controller (AC62) these controllers communicate over the internet to Verkada Command Software allowing you the ability to manage this sytem from anywhere.   The controllers allow for the Verkada multi-format reader to be connected or a Weigand compatible reader.  The Verkada reader supports mobile Bluetooth access from the Verkada Pass App allowing authorized users the ability to use their smart phones as a crednetial.

The Verkada access control systems allow for the monitoring of the door through the system. The door can be monitored for door forced open conditions and door held open conditions. The door forced open condition occurs when the door is opened without the use of an authorized credential. Door prop open condition exists when door is left in the open position for an extended period time after a valid credential has been used to pass through the door. Alarms can be configured to trigger on the software and sound locally.
